What you don't know about Amlash!

This small and beautiful city, which is located 75 km from the center of Gilan province, is considered an ancient region. The reason for naming this city is its proximity to a river that has stagnant water, and for this reason, it was called Ablash or Umm Lash. The name meant stagnant river and was later changed to Amlash. The people of this region are mainly engaged in agriculture and their products are wheat, tea, hazelnuts, citrus and of course rice, although most of the lands in this area are under tea cultivation. In addition, products such as honey or animal products are also produced in the area.
